The Albert 1er hotel welcomes in these shows, the time of a weekend of actors and local producers specialists of the plant, the occasion of meetings and exchanges with passionate professionals.
The hotel is strongly committed to sustainable development and was one of the first hotels in the city to obtain the European ECOLABEL label. For this new event, it is the vegetal which is put on the front of the stage, well aware of the environmental stakes that represent the greening of the cities.
The Albert Plant Sales are a continuation of the “flowers on my wall” approach of the city of Toulouse and of the will to connect the inhabitants of the district with local producers and actors.
In recent years, the sale of plants in the city center has become very popular with city dwellers, with plants and productions from far away.
On the other hand, this operation carried out with local actors, is the opportunity to put forward a know-how, local producers and to favour exchanges.
Thus the Albert Plant Sales are co-organized with the interior landscaper Capsule-Végétale from Toulouse, Cécile Genty.
His specialty is to advise individuals as well as professionals in the greening of their interiors, by selecting plants adapted to the constraints of a house or offices.

Didier Veaux, founder of the atypical nursery ” A la lumière du jour ” located a few kilometers from Toulouse, a real wild garden composed of rare and original plants. Real botanist, Didier will give precious advices on the plants to recommend according to the exposure
Mr ORGANICS – ENGRAIS & LOMBRICOMPOST – Yvon – Castelnaudary
Yvon Goujon is the head of Mr Organics, a company specialized in the manufacture of natural solutions ensuring the nutrition and the protection of the plants starting from organic fertilizers such as the vermicompost or the dehydrated horse dung. Vermicomposting is a solution adapted to the city to reduce this waste.

La Nabelle – Creation of dried flowers jewelry- Anabelle – Toulouse
La Nabelle offers Delicate Jewelry made of seasonal flowers and papers. The flowers are picked by Annabelle the creator or recovered in the waste of florists working with local flowers, then dried in her workshop in Toulouse. She works with resin and the primers used to make the jewelry come only from Europe and are made of stainless steel or gold/silver plated. The jewels are guaranteed without cadmium, nickel and lead according to the standards in force.
La Nabelle is also Artistic-Creative Workshops having for central theme the Paper, the Upcycling and the transmission of know-how!”
Terres et Ô – Pottery – Sophie – Grenade sur Garonne
Sophie Avalle of the workshop Terres et Ô is a ceramist and turns pottery in porous clay. His specialty is the “puits d’O” or “ollas” that slowly and regularly diffuse water to the roots of the plants.
Every step of the manufacturing process at the workshop is designed to have the least possible impact on the environment, such as the use of rainwater, the use of raw materials compatible with food use, recycled to infinity, and the use of second-hand materials and tools, when possible.
Sophie customizes your pottery according to your constraints and advises you on the optimal use of the O wells. She also offers to come to her workshop to make your own ollas
The Albert Plant Sales will be held in the ALBERT salons located just a stone’s throw from the Place du Capitole. These urban cocoons steeped in history can be adapted to the various needs of customers: company seminars, ephemeral boutiques, photo shoots, training sessions, vernissages, exhibitions, etc.

The 2 days will be punctuated with animations and advices, to decorate one’s interior, to flower a window box, to compose a balcony of aromatic plants…
Families will appreciate the “Repot your pot” workshop for the little ones to make them aware of the pleasure of gardening! (On registration).

- Friday April 15th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm – Pottery animation with Sophie – Demonstration of the making of olla/wells on the potter’s wheel
- Saturday April 16th from 10am to 12pm – Didier’s Urban Botany Conference – Chat with Didier
- Saturday, April 16 from 2 to 4 pm – Wild Gardening! The current environmental problems force us to reconsider all our practices, including gardening! A discussion on the interest of (re)making a place for the wild in our gardens.

- Fun workshop to educate children about the joy of gardening “Repot your pot!” – 9€
- La Nabelle offers a herbarium workshop for children. With old books and flowers, Annabelle will make you discover the techniques of drying flowers.
